What does the Deluxe Plus Plan cover?

The Deluxe Plus Plan covers the following:

  • Everything that is covered by the Dental Plus Plan (Dental, Vision, Prescriptions, and Chiropractic)
  • Telemedicine
  • Bill Negotiator
  • Surgery Saver
  • Healthcare Navigator
  • Ancillary Services (includes MRI, CT Scans, and Blood work)

Who can use the Deluxe Plus Plan?

Just like the Dental Plus Plan, the Deluxe Plus Plan covers everyone in your entire household. A household is defined as everyone who lives at a particular address.

What is the cost of the Deluxe Plus Plan?

The Deluxe Plus Plan costs you $39.95 per month. There is an additional, one-time, $30 registration fee for the first month that you have to pay when you sign up.

What is Telemedicine?

Telemedicine allows 24/7 physician access by phone or e-mail. Informational consultations are available at no charge to Deluxe Plus members. A detailed diagnostic consultation, with a prescription when necessary, is available to Deluxe Plus members for a fee of $25.

What is the Bill Negotiator?

Members who choose the Deluxe Plus Plan receive hospital and medical bill reduction negotiation. This program is designed to help members with their medical bills whenever a single hospital visit totals at least $1,500. (For the insured, this means the amount you are personally responsible for, aside from your deductible.) Charges can be incurred from multiple providers. The patient advocate negotiates on behalf of the patient and pursues a wide range of options, from government entitlement programs to payment plans. There is a waiting period of three business days from the active date of your membership to utilize this program.

Prior hospital bills, from before the time when you were a Deluxe Plus member, can be negotiated for a $250 non-refundable fee.

What is the Surgery Saver?

The cost of surgery can vary greatly from facility to facility. There can be large cost differences for the same surgical procedure between different facilities with no difference in quality. With the surgery saver, an advisor shops up to five surgical facilities to find the best available price, quality, and availability for non-emergency surgical procedures, as well as performs physician privilege verification.

What is the Healthcare Navigator?

The healthcare navigator service consists of advisors that are available to address healthcare questions, concerns, and needs. Advisors assist in prescription cost, healthcare facility searches, health cost estimates, alternative medicine options, lab and imaging services, Affordable Care Act questions, and more.

What Ancillary Services are covered?

The Deluxe Plus Membership provides a discount on all imaging and radiographic services such as MRIs and CAT scans. Deluxe Plus members also receive discounts on all lab tests such as blood tests, lipid panels, and comprehensive metabolic panels. Members receive discounts on LASIK surgery at a nationwide network of Board Certified Opthamologists. Deluxe Plus members can also receive discounts on diabetic testing supplies.

How do I sign up for the Deluxe Plus Plan?

Sign up for Deluxe Plus!

Click on the orange "Enroll Now" button that's underneath your selected plan. Once you do so, you will be prompted to enter your name, address (street, city, state, and zip code), e-mail address, phone number, birth date, and gender. These are all required fields. Once you have entered your information, you can click on the orange "Continue" button.

Next, you will come to a screen where you can review your plan choice and your personal member information. If you have other people in your household who you would like covered, click on the "Add Household" button. All members of your household are included in the monthly fee, so there is no additional cost to do this. Once you click on "Add Household", you will be brought to a screen where you add a household member's name, birth date, and gender. Once you have entered this information, click on the orange "Submit" button. After one household member's information has been submitted, click on the orange "Add Household" button if there are more household members to add, and repeat the process. When you're done adding household members, click on the "Click Here After All Household Members Are Added" link.

After you have finished adding household members, you will be brought back to the screen where you can review your plan choice, personal member information, and household member information. Make any changes if necessary. Remember to check the box that indicates you agree to the terms and conditions of the Member Agreement. Then, click on the orange "Secure Checkout" button.

You must pay with a credit card at the secure checkout. You will need to enter the card holder name, the card number, the expiration date (month and year), the zip code, and the CCV number (this is a 3-digit number on the back of your VISA, MasterCard, or Discover card, or a 4-digit number on the front of your American Express card). When all the information has been entered, you can click on the orange "Submit" button.
