AmeriPlan recruits independent benefits consultants to sell AmeriPlan
memberships (Dental Plus or
Deluxe Plus), as well as to recruit other new
independent benefits consultants. The independent benefits consultants pay to
be able to join the AmeriPlan team and take part in this money-making
opportunity. These people can work from home with their kids by their side,
follow their own hours, work as much as they want to, and be their own boss.

How do you make money as an independent benefits consultant?
All income as a benefits consultant is based on commission. The amount you
make is completely based on results. You can make money in two different way.
The first way is by selling memberships (again,
Dental Plus or Deluxe Plus). The second way
is by recruiting other people to become new AmeriPlan independent benefits
How much do you make from selling Dental Plus or Deluxe Plus Memberships?
Your cut is 40% of the monthly cost of whichever membership was sold. This
includes residual income.
What is residual income?
As long a member who you sold a membership to keeps their AmeriPlan
membership (which means that member needs to keep paying the monthly fee), you
keep receiving 40% of that monthly fee they pay every month. You keep receiving
payments as long as they keep their AmeriPlan membership (as long as your
business remains in good standing).
As an example, suppose you sell someone a Deluxe Plus Membership, which costs
$39.95 per month. If that person keeps that membership for 2 years, then you
will keep receiving your 40% cut every month for those 2 years. This means that
you will have made $383.52 over those 2 years from just that single membership.
As another example, suppose you are able to sell 20 new Dental Plus ($24.95
per month) memberships every month for an entire year. By the last month of the
year (assuming everyone you sold to in prior months kept their memberships all
year), you will be receiving income from the 240 new Dental Plus memberships
you sold that year, which amounts to a monthly income of $2,395.20 for that last
month, just based on only those new memberships.

What are the different "Jump Start" levels?
You can view the different Jump Start levels that are currently available
and their current costs
at this link. Levels that are commonly available are the Special Jump Start,
the Regular Jump Start, the Super Jump Start, and the Ultimate Jump Start. The
Jump Start levels are subject to change as there are other Jump Start packages
that are offered occasionally.
What are the differences between the Jump Start levels?
They all include the online training, a "back office" site, downloadable
brochures, flyers, and forms, video prospecting tools, and more. The
differences between them are the number of pre-purchased Deluxe Plus memberships
and the amount of "Free" Deluxe Plus inventory you receive. I don't know what
these are used for yet, but I will report that here when I do.
Again, how much do you make from enrolling a new benefits consultant?
Currently, you get $100 if your recruit chooses the Special Jump Start, $200
if he/she chooses the Regular Jump Start, $400 if he/she chooses the Super
Jump Start, and $600 if he/she chooses the Ultimate Jump Start.

What other costs are involved when you become a benefits consultant?
There is a $30 annual fee to remain a benefits consultant. This is waived
when you first sign up for your first year, so this fee applies starting with
your second year. No other costs are absolutely required. However, there are
costs for things that are optional.
As part of your training, you will be told about the FocalPoint system,
which helps you organize and follow up with potential leads. If you sign up,
it is free for the first month, but then it costs a monthly fee (currently
$17.95 per month).
I chose to get a new phone that would purely be a business phone, so the cost
of the phone and the monthly fee are business costs for me. Additionally, I
chose to make this website for my business. Acquiring a domain name and web
hosting for this website (from 1&1 IONOS)
is a small additional cost for me. You do not have to do any of this, but these
are just examples of things that I chose to do.
One way to promote your business locally is to print flyers. The costs
involved there would be the paper and the ink (as well as the gas driving

business page(s) are free. There are plenty of groups that you can join on
Facebook that will allow you to get the word out for free. There's also the
Facebook Marketplace, where you can post a free ad. You are encouraged to
advertise your business in ways that don't cost you anything. However, be advised
that once you create a Facebook business page, you'll find that Facebook
constantly offers to "boost" a business post so that it reaches more people. If
you want to do this (and you by no means have to -- I never have done so), it will

How do I sign up to become a benefits consultant?
You can sign up to start your career as an independent benefits consultant
Click on the orange "Enroll Now" button that's underneath your selected Jump
Start choice. Once you do so, you will be prompted to enter your name, address
(street, city, state, and zip code), e-mail address, phone number, birth date, and
gender. These are all required fields. Once you have entered your information,
you can click on the orange "Continue" button.
Next, you will come to a screen where you can review your Jump Start choice and
your personal member information. Since the Jump Start also includes enrollment
in the Deluxe Plus Membership Plan, you need to add
any members of your household to the plan. If you have other people in
your household who you would like covered, click on the "Add Household" button.
All members of your household are included in the monthly fee, so
there is no additional cost to do this. Once you click on "Add Household", you
will be brought to a screen where you add a household member's name, birth date,
and gender. Once you have entered this information, click on the orange
"Submit" button. After one household member's information has been submitted,
click on the orange "Add Household" button if there are more household members
to add, and repeat the process. When you're done adding household members,
click on the "Click Here After All Household Members Are Added" link.
After you have finished adding household members, you will be brought back
to the screen where you can review your plan choice, personal member
information, and household member information. Make any changes if necessary.
Remember to check the box that indicates you agree to the terms and conditions
of the Member Agreement, and also to check the box that indicates that you agree
to the terms and conditions of the Independent Owner. Then, click on the orange
"Secure Checkout" button.
You must pay with a credit card at the secure checkout. You will need to
enter the card holder name, the card number, the expiration date (month and
year), the zip code, and the CCV number (this is a 3-digit number on the back
of your VISA, MasterCard, or Discover card, or a 4-digit number on the front of
your American Express card). When all the information has been entered, you can
click on the orange "Submit" button.
